Hosting Our First Community Event - Autumn Equinox

We are beyond excited to share some big news: Gold Country Rec Rentals is hosting our very first community event!

On Monday, September 22nd, we’ll gather at the water’s edge to welcome the Autumn Equinox—the moment when day and night find perfect balance. This natural turning point has been celebrated for centuries as a time of reflection, connection, and renewal, and we couldn’t imagine a better way to honor it than by coming together with our neighbors and friends here in the Sierra Foothills.

This gathering is about more than just paddleboards and kayaks—it’s about community. It’s about creating a space where people can move, reflect, and share in the beauty of the season. We’ve invited local practitioners to lead offerings like yoga, reiki, and nature hikes, all with the intention of weaving together the talents, energy, and heart of our community.

Whether you want to paddle out and watch the sunset from the water, set intentions for the season ahead, or simply enjoy the cozy community space on land, this evening is for everyone. Bring your own gear, or rent one of ours at special community pricing—we just want to see you there.

We are so grateful to everyone who has supported Gold Country Rec Rentals from the beginning, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to kick off our first event with all of you. Let’s celebrate balance, the turning of the seasons, and the magic of gathering together in this place we’re lucky enough to call home.

We hope to see you there!
